‘Planting for Impact’ – Half day course in border design and planting.

This half day seminar shows you how to choose and combine plants for that ‘wow factor’, whether in a small garden or large borders. Topics covered include:

• Creative use of form, colour and texture
• Favourite ‘tried and tested’ plant combinations
• Planting for particular conditions, such as woodland and shade
• Successional planting
• How to maintain the ‘wow factor’ right through the year

The course includes a personally guided tour of my garden as featured in the English Garden Magazine, which illustrates many of the specific design and planting techniques discussed. Suitable for gardeners keen to improve their border design skills and knowledge of perennial planting. Maximum 8 people, £45 per person. Price includes coffee/tea and light lunch.
