Recent projects

The brief for this project was to create a low maintenance but plant-filled garden in a Suffolk village, for clients who were downsizing. The challenge was to squeeze a lot into a small area, while creating a calm green space for the clients to relax in. What the client says: ‘Julianne cleverly designed us a beautiful, low maintenance garden in a very small area. At the front of our cottage she created a traditional cottage garden, featuring a varied tapestry of plants chosen to flower throughout the year. At the back the design made brilliant use of the space to create a stunning ‘outdoor room’ for relaxation and entertaining. We were especially pleased with the planting design, which gives the garden a real ‘wow factor’.’
